Why should we develop multi-modal networking technology standards?
It is not difficult to find that in July 2003, the IGRS Standards Working Group, supported by the Ministry of Information Industry, was jointly initiated by Lenovo, TCL, Konka, Hisense, Skyworth, Changhong, Great Wall, and Zhonghewei. Significant results have been achieved in standards development and industrialization, and efforts have been made to promote the collaborative interconnection of information, communication and consumer electronics.
This year, in conjunction with emerging technology and industry development trends, IGRS has continuously achieved results and breakthroughs in standard formulation and promotion. At present, 8 international standards and 10 national standards have been officially released, and 6 other industry standards have been approved for release. There are 9 group standards released so far, and new products and application programs are emerging. The joint innovation approach has been affirmed and supported by the National Standards Committee.
At this IGRS exchange meeting, IGRS has released three multi-modal wireless networking standards, which are based on the existing wireless communication networking methods and have low-power, self-organizing networks.
