Onsemi today introduced two audio power amplifiers, the NCP2892 and NCP2990, which provide higher output power than previous generation amplifiers.The NCP2892 and NCP2990 are 1.3 W audio amplifiers with fast on-time and lowest power consumption without hum and hum, making them suitable for portable communication devices with high audio quality requirements. The NCP2892 is optimized for differential audio input to eliminate clicks and pops, while the NCP2990 uses single-ended audio input for no clicks. Both new audio power amplifiers are ideal for mobile phones and PDAs.
