LNK410EG (dimming) and LNK420EG (non-dimming) provide input with constant current output with PF and THD correction. The specific features of the new device are described in the RDR-290. This reference design describes a single output driver for high bay lights.
The RDR-290 is designed for a 75 W output with an efficiency of 92.2% at 230 VAC and easily meets EN61000-3-2 Class C limits. The power factor is greater than 0.95. The design eliminates the need for primary side high voltage bulk electrolytic capacitors, making it possible to achieve a 50,000 hour service life, even in challenging outdoor environments and high ambient temperatures.
