Qualcomm continues to sue Apple for divulging its confidentiality to Intel

[Global Network Technology Reporter Chen Jian] According to foreign media "Bloomberg" reports, Qualcomm once again launched a lawsuit against Apple, saying that Apple violated a software license agreement, making Qualcomm's rival Intel Corporation profit. The mutual lawsuit between Qualcomm and Apple has become a typical long-term litigation case between Apple and Samsung’s lawsuits. Qualcomm stated in its indictment filed in the California State Court on Wednesday that Apple has used its commercial advantages to require chip makers to provide confidential software, even source code. Qualcomm said that in the details of the contract with Apple, Apple must ensure that the company's engineers working with Qualcomm don't exchange details with Qualcomm's chips with engineers who have worked with Intel. But in July of this year, Apple obtained “highly confidential” information via email – how the chip worked on the unconfirmed wireless carrier network and sent this confidential information to Qualcomm’s competitor Intel. In another similar case, Qualcomm said that Apple's Apple engineers who collaborated with Qualcomm leaked Qualcomm's confidential technology information to an Apple engineer who collaborated with Qualcomm’s competitors. At present, Apple has not commented on this. According to reports, due to the continuous escalation of legal disputes between the two companies, Apple may not adopt Qualcomm's chips on the iPhone and iPad next year, and instead adopt Intel's products, but Intel’s products are currently linked to Qualcomm’s. The performance gap is still large. Qualcomm CEO Steve Mollenkopf warned investors on Wednesday's conference call that the dispute between Qualcomm and Apple may be a protracted war.
