This GluCase phone case is stuffed into a blood glucose meter!

[PConline News] Although it's not difficult to measure blood sugar now, it's still a bit tricky to know about blood glucose data anytime, anywhere. A few days ago, foreign design team AkibaH introduced a mobile phone case that can be used to measure blood sugar. GluCase aims to integrate smart phones and blood glucose meters into a single device to help diabetics improve their lives. The device looks like an ordinary phone case but uses a built-in blood glucose meter that allows users to display, store, and analyze blood glucose data through related applications. Users can also share data with the medical team so that doctors can monitor their blood glucose levels in real time. The phone case has a lancet at the bottom and a test strip next to the phone case – both can be hidden inside the phone case when not in use and can be ejected when needed. The readings of the test strip will be presented on the screen, and the data will be added to the application later. At present, Akiba H, the design team of GluCase mobile phone shells, is inviting crowdfunding activities at Indiegogo and hopes to reach a goal of 50,000 U.S. dollars. At present, the team has received support of 2,000 US dollars, 29 days from the end of crowdfunding. Supporters spend $69 to get a GluCase phone case. Comments: There is still need for needles to collect blood. The mild cleaning of the test needle is a worrying issue.
