Dongguan Qinshang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is an enterprise that has entered the LED semiconductor light source development and application earlier. In 2004, Qinshang Optoelectronics began research and exploration of high-power LED semiconductor lighting applications. However, the production of high-efficiency power LED street lamps faced serious technical bottlenecks. The inherent characteristics of the single-power LED's small luminous flux and the Lambertian angular distribution of the chip's long-field distribution make the company's research and development difficult.
In 2007, with the cooperation of industry, academia and research institutes in the province, Dongguan Qinshang Optoelectronics and Tsinghua University formally established a cooperative relationship between industry, university and research institute. Tsinghua University has world-class laboratories such as the National Key Laboratory of Integrated Optoelectronics and the Semiconductor Lighting Laboratory. At the same time, it has a large number of high-level research results in the field of semiconductor lighting. High-power LED cooling technology and secondary optical technology are leading the international advanced level. . The joining of Tsinghua University quickly helped to cross the bottleneck in the development of high-efficiency power LED street lamps. In 2008, its joint research and development of high-power LED street lighting project won the third "China Technology Market Association Golden Bridge Award". In 2009, the LED lighting products jointly developed by Qinshang and Tsinghua were applied in Tiananmen Square, adding brilliance to the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China.
With the strong support of Tsinghua University, Qinshang Optoelectronics' own independent research and development and transformation of results have greatly enhanced. At present, it has more than 200 patented technologies, including 16 US patents and 1 German patent. Among them, LED street lamps are in the process of receiving 9 national invention patents, 16 utility model patents and 8 appearance patents.
