Zhaga Publishing LED Spotlight Module Specification Book--Book 3

The International Zhaga Alliance publishes the first book to be offered to non-members, Book 3, which, like Book 1, contains general information and definitions. Zhaga is the international lighting industry alliance that regulates the interface of various LED light engines.

The Book 3 available on the Zhaga website defines a spotlight LED light engine interface. The current version is 1.2 and the updated version will be released regularly. Specifically, Book 3 defines the interface between the luminaire and the non-plugged LED light engine (LLE) and a separate electronic control unit (ECG). The light engine has a disc shape with a maximum height of 7.2 mm and a typical diameter of 50 mm. An example of this is OSRAM's Prevaled Core Z2 LED module (Figure 1).

The Zhaga LED Light Engine specification has been released from Release 2 to 8, 8 and 2, all incorporating ECG and LLES for downlight applications. However, the base of the Book 2 LLE is 65 mm, while the base of the Book 8 is 85 mm (Figure 2).

In the initial phase, the first Zhaga specification was kept confidential and only available to members of the Zhaga Alliance. However, Zhaga's policy is that each specification is issued once certified (by a third-party vendor) and the first products with the Zhaga logo have been sold. The current situation is that it can be tested and certified by Book 2 (downlight engine) and Book 3 (spotlight engine). In late August 2012, Zhaga said that 40 products that meet Book 2 or Book 3 have been certified. These products include LED modules, LED light engines, LED fixtures and holders.

In addition to Book 3, Zhaga also publishes "Book 1: Overview and General Information", which gives an overview of the terminology. The purpose of the general information is to explain the general features of the five interfaces. The interface specification LED light source defined by Book 3 is suitable for downlights and other applications that require point light sources. The LED modules involved are screw-mounted lighting devices based on heat sinks supplied by OEM luminaire manufacturers and can be controlled with separate electronically controlled gears. The LLES covered by Book 3 is round and between 9 mm and 23 mm in diameter. The output light is essentially a Lambertian illumination that allows the luminaire's optical system to be defined into the light distribution application.

Battery is the energy source of AGV car, and also relates to the service life of AGV car.Common battery types for AGV vehicles include nickel-cadmium battery, nickel-metal hydride battery, lithium battery and lead-acid battery, which have the following characteristics:

1. Nickel Cadmium Battery

The nickel-cadmium battery used in AGV car has large internal resistance and can be used for large current discharge.

2. Nimh battery

It offers higher capacity at the same price as nickel-cadmium batteries, less pronounced memory effects, and lower environmental pollution.

3. Lithium battery

"Lithium battery" is a kind of battery with lithium metal or lithium alloy as negative electrode material and non-aqueous electrolyte solution. Because lithium battery has the characteristics of high energy density, high voltage and stable operation, it is widely used.

4, lead acid battery

The electrodes are mainly made of lead and its oxides, and the electrolyte is a kind of battery with sulfuric acid solution.Lead-acid battery has the advantages of good invertibility, stable voltage characteristics, long service life, wide application range, abundant raw materials, renewable use and low cost.
