Intel "invasion" auto-driving field has a chance to show off

According to the Reuters website, on Tuesday, Intel, auto parts supplier Delphi and Israeli technology company Mobileye announced that the autopilot car system jointly developed by Delphi and Mobileye will use Intel chips.

Intel "invasion" autopilot field has a chance to show off

This is undoubtedly good news for Intel. Intel is also working with German luxury carmakers BMW and Mobileye to develop autonomous driving technology, but has not been able to extend its chip dominance to the emerging autonomous automotive market.

Reuters said that companies ranging from Google to Uber to Tesla are developing autonomous vehicles, which will bring another revolution to the automotive industry.

Glen De Vos, vice president of engineering at Delphi, told Reuters that Intel will provide a "system on a chip" for autopilot cars developed jointly by Delphi and Mobileye.

De Voss said that Delphi is negotiating cooperation with mainstream automakers and niche automakers interested in autonomous vehicles, such as commercial vehicle manufacturers. He said that the system jointly developed by Delphi and Mobileye will be first applied to commercial vehicles with limited operating ranges, such as airport shuttles and taxi services.

Delphi is testing autonomous driving technology in Singapore. De Voss said that Delphi hopes to select an American city by the end of this year and conduct a self-driving car test in 2017. "We are considering Pittsburgh, Boston and other cities." Delphi is also considering testing autonomous vehicles in European cities. Uber tested his autonomous car in Pittsburgh.

Reuters said that Devos said that Delphi and Mobileye will showcase their jointly developed autonomous vehicle systems at the International Consumer Electronics Show in January next year. The two companies' autonomous vehicle systems use lidar technology, but this technology is costly and not suitable for use in consumer vehicles.

Delphi is also working with solid-state Lidar system vendor Quanergy Systems.

11kV Dry Type Transformer

We adopt the advanced technology imported from Europe, patented technology, specialized software to optimize the design for 11kV cast resin Dry Type Transformer. The core is made of cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheet which cut in step-lap by GEORG Germany TBA core cutting lines and laminated by the method of fifth-order step-by-step stacking technology, enabling the no-load performance of the core to improve greatly. The epoxy resin from American HUNTSMAN is adopted for the windings which casted in the vacuum resin casting machine imported from HEDRICH, Germany. The winding material ensures good permeability, no bubbles occur, which leads to minimum partial discharge. The HV and LV winding mate with each other tightly, which ensures solid strength of structure and capability to withstand short circuit and vibration. Under normal service condition, the service life of dry type transformer is 30 years. No crack will form on the surface of transformer winding due to temperature variation as long as the transformer runs under normal service condition.
