The second generation of improved nuclear power equipment localization rate of more than 80%

Zhang Guobao said that the localization rate of the second-generation improved nuclear power key equipment has reached more than 80%, and a large number of nuclear power key equipment such as nuclear power control systems, zirconium tubes, evaporator U-tubes, emergency power supplies, and nuclear-level valves have been domestically produced. Three generations of nuclear power super-large forgings, evaporators, main pipelines, containment and other key equipment can be independently manufactured. The million-kilowatt ultra-supercritical, large-scale air-cooled and circulating fluidized bed thermal power units have reached international advanced level. The 3 MW wind turbines have a mass production capacity and the 5 MW wind turbines have gone offline. The localization rates of the ±800 kV HVDC and 1,000 Kv AC transmission demonstration projects reached 90% and 67%, respectively. Ten million tons of oil refining and one million tons of ethylene equipment to achieve independent design and independent manufacturing. The 3,000-meter deep-water drilling platform was successfully built, and the LNG carrier and the VLCC supertanker achieved “National and State-owned”. Domestically produced 6 million tons of coal mining equipment was put into use, and 10 million tons of fully-mechanized coal mining equipment began trials.

He frankly stated that since the establishment of the National Energy Administration, the scientific and technological management system for the energy industry has been gradually established. The general investigation of energy science and technology achievements was carried out, and the “Guidelines for the Development of Energy Science and Technology” was compiled. 39 national energy R&D (experimental) centers were established and the first National Energy Science and Technology Progress Award was selected. The establishment of a new standardization management system for the energy industry, and preliminary achievements in the construction of special standards systems for nuclear power, wind power, photovoltaic power generation, electric vehicle charging facilities, smart grids, etc., cumulatively released 588 energy industry standards.
