According to reports, the current US satellite navigation industry chain is pyramid-shaped, and the downstream application output value accounts for more than 70% of the entire industrial chain. In contrast, China's Beidou industrial chain is gyro-type, with downstream production output accounting for less than 30%. The downstream business returns are small, and the government alone has long-term investment, and the future is difficult to sustain.

Application bottleneck under GPS rolling

The satellite navigation system includes three parts: sky, ground and terminal applications.

In 2012, when Beidou Navigation provided navigation, positioning, timing and short message communication services to the Asia Pacific region, it promised to provide free services with an accuracy of 5-10 meters. This positioning accuracy is comparable to that of the US GPS. But some companies have found that meter-level accuracy is not enough.

The high-precision equipment used by the base stations is all from domestic manufacturers.
