1.1 LED lighting
LED lighting is a new type of high-efficiency solid-state light source with light-emitting diodes as the light source [1,4]. It is called semiconductor lighting in China. The international name is Solid State Lighting. High transparent light diffusing resin is the main material for making LED lampshade, mainly including high transmittance resin such as PS (polystyrene), PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) and PC (polycarbonate), among which PC The material is widely used for its excellent comprehensive properties such as high transparency, high toughness and high flame retardancy.
Light transmittance and haze are two contradictory material indicators. The higher the haze, the lower the light transmittance, and the light diffusing material needs to find a balance between the two, which has high transmittance and Have a high haze.

2 Application of high transparent light diffusion resin material
Highly transparent light diffusing resin materials are widely used in industrial lighting, commercial lighting, office lighting, home lighting, traffic lighting, and public lighting. The extent of its application varies from application to application, as shown in Figure 2.

3 Market conditions of high transparent light diffusing resin materials for LED lighting
In the 1960s, LED lighting was introduced, and it has become an emerging industry in the world. The scale of the industry is increasing. DIGI-TIMES expects the global LED lighting market to reach US$16.5 billion in 2012. The total lighting penetration rate will reach 11.3%. LED lighting output penetration is expected to reach 20%, and the market size is expected to challenge $50 billion (see Figure 3).

National “Twelfth Five-Year Planâ€, the penetration rate of LED lighting industry will reach 20% by 2015, the scale of the industry will exceed 100 billion yuan, the penetration rate of LED lighting industry will reach 75% in 2020, and the scale of the industry will reach hundreds of billions of yuan. 3.3 National policies promote the continuous improvement of the penetration rate of the LED lighting industry
The country's encouragement policies, continuous technological advancement and continued decline in manufacturing costs will continue to drive the penetration of the LED lighting industry, and will achieve 75% of LED lighting instead of incandescent lighting by 2020.
3.4 Market size and development trend of high transparent light diffusion resin materials
In 2011, the market scale [4] was 1.716 billion yuan, and it will continue to grow at a high speed in the next few years. It is expected to reach a scale of 10 billion by 2020, as shown in Figure 5.

In September 2012, the import price of high transparent light diffusing resin products for LED lampshades ranged from 25,000 to 60,000 yuan/ton, and the price of domestic products was 22,000-45,000 yuan/ton.
