Hitachi Appliances has developed a new "LED Ceiling Light" series "LEC-AHS1810BC" with excellent brightness, which will be available for sale on June 14, 2013.
The luminaire is mounted on a residential ceiling to ensure a large living room of approximately 30 square meters is bright enough to provide a nominal luminous flux of up to 7290 lm. Previously used in lamps of 20-25 square meters, the luminous flux was up to 6090 lm.
The new product uses a large heat dissipation structure and adjusts the configuration of the LED unit with the lens to reduce the amount of heat generated by the large luminous flux, thereby increasing the luminous flux. Hitachi Electric said that in household ceiling lamps, 7290lm of luminous flux is the "highest level in the industry."
In order to improve the usability, the new product is also equipped with a “brightness adjustment†function that changes the color and brightness of the light (color rendering index) by simply pressing the button of the remote control, and can be adjusted into a light bulb with a slight yellow light. Warm white and cool white fluorescent lamps have similar colors and brightness, and you can select the appropriate lighting mode with one click. For example, when eating, you can choose a light bulb mode that enhances your appetite. You can choose a fluorescent light mode that is more suitable for reading.
The product consumes 86W of power and has an inherent energy efficiency of 84.8lm/W.
