01, the water production of pure water machine drops

(1) The amount of water produced decreases. The lower the temperature, the greater the decrease in the flow rate of water. Because the viscosity of water is affected by temperature, the water production of reverse osmosis membrane will decrease. Generally, the water production of reverse osmosis membrane decreases when the water temperature drops by 1 °C. 3%, the amount of water produced in winter is about 50% of the amount of water produced in summer.
(2) As the wastewater increases, the flow rate of wastewater will increase correspondingly, and the wastewater ratio will increase accordingly. This is a normal phenomenon. After the temperature rises, the wastewater will decrease and the water production flow will increase.
Note: The above phenomenon is mainly related to the characteristics of the RO membrane. The modulus of elasticity of the film in winter is reduced, and under the same pressure, the transmittance of water naturally decreases.
The effect of temperature on the water production of the reverse osmosis membrane is shown in the figure below. As the temperature becomes lower, the viscosity of water increases, the diffusibility of water decreases, and the amount of water produced decreases as the temperature decreases. Under the same pressure, the temperature drops by one degree Celsius, and the water production can be reduced by 3-4%.
02, low temperature causes the water pipe to burst
Due to the relatively low temperature in winter, there is a risk of freezing cracks in the north and south water inlet pipes. In order to prevent this, the user can use foam, cloth, etc. wrapped around the pipe of the water inlet pipe to maintain the heat preservation effect. Also, when not using water or at night, you can turn off the valve in front of the water meter, open the lowest tap in the home, and drain all the water in the pipe.
In case the tap water supply pipe is cracked or stopped, try not to use a pure water machine. The best way is to close the water inlet ball valve first. After the water comes, use the tap water to put a little water for a while, and drain the sediment and rust that may be mixed during the construction process to avoid entering the water purifier and protect the filter element. Then open the inlet ball valve and let the water purifier work normally.
03, outdoor machine antifreeze is more important
Since most of the northern part has heating room temperature can be guaranteed, if the water purification equipment is installed outdoors or there is no heating in the south, it is best to stop using the machine when the temperature reaches below zero in winter. If there is no anti-freezing measures, it may lead to filter bottles and membranes. The shell is frozen and cracked. If it is indoors, it is necessary to ensure that the indoor temperature is above zero. Because the water will freeze below zero, the water will swell once it freezes, which will make the water purifier vulnerable to damage.
04, what has been done?
If the pure water machine freezes, the mechanism water should not be forced to prevent the machine from being damaged endlessly. The correct way is to naturally thaw the machine in an environment with a temperature higher than 8 degrees, and it can not be used during the thawing process. It must be checked for water leakage after 48 hours of thawing. If there is a water leakage phenomenon, you should contact the product after sale if you cannot handle it.
05, how to operate when you do not need to enable it for a long time?
If you do not use the water purifier for a long time or need to go out, you must close the inlet ball valve and discharge all the water in the pressure tank. Check the appearance of the machine before using it again. After confirming the normal, the water source can be turned on. A bucket of water is also recommended for discharge.
