ADI introduces the industry's smallest MEMS microphone designed for hearing aids

Beijing, China — Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), the world's leading provider of high-performance signal processing solutions, has launched the ADMP801, a high-performance MEMS microphone developed specifically for hearing aid applications. Compared with traditional solutions such as electret condenser microphones (ECM), ADMP801 is not only smaller in size (only 7.3 cubic millimeters), but also more stable in performance, not changing with time, temperature and environmental changes. Its equivalent input noise (EIN) is as low as 27 dBA SPL (sound pressure level), and the power consumption at 1 V power supply is only 17 µA, which is a fraction of the power consumption of traditional ECM. The ADMP801 MEMS microphone is packaged in a small surface mount package and measures only 3.35 mm x 2.50 mm x 0.98 mm. It is compatible with the reflow soldering process and the sensitivity will not be reduced.

Pat O'Doherty, vice president of health care at Analog Devices, said: "Hearing applications are areas where MEMS microphones can show their talents because of their small size, high stability, and very low power consumption. However, the EIN performance of MEMS microphones in the past Strict hearing aid standards cannot be met. The noise performance, package size, phase, and gain stability of the ADMP801 MEMS microphone fully meet the requirements of advanced hearing aid applications, and integrate beamforming technology to help locate sound sources. "

More information about ADMP801 omnidirectional MEMS microphone

The ADMP801 is a high-quality, ultra-low power, analog output, bottom-received omnidirectional MEMS microphone designed specifically for hearing aid applications. It is fully compatible with SMT and reflow processes, allowing mechanized assembly processes to be used to save costs; in contrast, ECM requires manual assembly processes. The device has excellent environmental and time stability. Multiple ADMP801 MEMS microphones can be configured as an array to form a directional response to help locate the sound source.

ADMP801 omnidirectional MEMS microphone main features:

· Microphone EIN: 27 dBA SPL

· Power consumption: 17 µA (1 V)

· Stable response, does not change with time and temperature

· Package volume: 7.3 cubic millimeters

Food Processors are multifunction kitchen appliances that can process food, vegetables into various desired states by matching different accessories. The more accessories, the more function of the food processors have. Usually, food processors including Plastic Jar Food Processors and Glass Jar Food Processors. According to the function, food processors can be divided into 4 in 1, 7 in 1, 10 in 1 and 15 in 1 food processors.

Generally speaking, food processors have the following functions: Blender, Juicer, Filter, Grinder, Mixing, Chopping, Citrus, Dough making, Egg whisk, Slice, Shred, Mash, Frech fries making, etc.
